Microscope hygiene

  • Transmitted light imaging can still be carried out
  • The light source for fluorescence imaging has failed.
  • Fluorescence imaging is currently not possible.
  • E: drive data is being/has been backed up nightly to \\minsky.med.unc.edu\vs120
  • E: data will be removed more frequently ~after 1 month
  • Text Michael 265-9380 almost anytime for problem/account fixes, questions. If no response try phoning. Emails will be answered eventually.
  • Local logins are required for now at each system.
  • If you don't have a local account at the sytem please contact Michael.
  • \\minsky server is disconnected from the UNC network. Contact Michael on how to access your data there.
